House in Sogawanishi-machi

This is a home planned for a family of three, a young couple and a child. However, we imagined that there might be a possibility for having more families in the future.
This means that interacting with each other including grandparents also revolves to plan for these home activities.
Giving center space for the living surrounding with Japanese style room, kid’s room, master bedroom, bathrooms and dining rooms gathers family activities into one and not waste the space for the hallways.
This way of planning each activity forms the walls and roofs which covers the living space and let us feel a strong sense of family ties.
