サロン、ネイル、スパ、エステ、カウンセリングなどを、複合的に追究するための接客スペースである。
そうしたプログラムを実行するために採用したコンセプトはリミックスである。アールデコやアールヌーボーのデザインを一部のテーストをモディファイさせて、ミニマルに融合されることで、リミックスを実現させた。音楽のリミックスと同じ手法である。
この空間を利用することで、自己が美しく更新されるイメージをデザインに重ね合わせている。
植物の萌える姿は、生命力とアールヌーボーを意味し、手すりなどのフレームアートはアールデコで表現された血管である。様々なフェーズを通過することで、生まれ変わりを意識させている。
This Beauty Salon is located in the new city of Takamatsu City, Kagawa on Shikoku Island. CUREBLOOMS offers spa treatments as well as manicures, massages and many more treats.
The concept behind the design of the salon is ‘remix’ to practice this program.
The idea of a mix of treatments throughout the salon came from the notion of the musical ‘remix’ which happens in chart music throughout the world.
The design also takes inspiration not only from music but art. The periods of ‘Art Deco’ and ‘Art Nouveau’ influence the salons design with shapes appearing in objects and furnishings.
The plant and bud shapes from ‘Art Nouveau’ have been recreated in the handrail designs, also referencing the blood vessels in ‘Art Deco’.
The periods were mixed together in this musical ‘remix’ style until the design felt less fussy and more minimal.
